Scottish Cup Final

£18 open to reasonable offers

Official programme for the 1968 Scottish Cup Final: Dunfermline Athletic v Heart of Midlothian, Hampden Park, Saturday 27 April 1968, with the classic 1960s trophy-cover design. The centrepiece of this collection, and the match that defines a generation of Dunfermline support.

Raith Rovers vs FC Bayern Munich

Programme · 1996-97

Challenge Match (Stark's Park Opening)

£35 open to reasonable offers

Signed Available

Official programme and souvenir brochure for the challenge match staged to open the redeveloped Stark's Park: Raith Rovers v FC Bayern Munich, Tuesday 21 January 1997. The centre pages carry what appear to be squad autographs from both sides, including signatures matching Bayern's 1996-97 stars Jurgen Klinsmann, Lothar Matthaus and Oliver Kahn. The signatures are unauthenticated and offered strictly as seen - but as a night when the German giants came to Kirkcaldy, this is one of the standout pieces in the collection.

GI Gotu vs Rangers

Programme · 1997-98

UEFA Champions League, Qualifying Round

£20 open to reasonable offers

Available

Official programme, in Faroese and Danish, for GI Gotu v Glasgow Rangers, Champions League qualifying, Tofta Stadium, Faroe Islands, 23 July 1997. Rangers won 5-0, but the programme is the story here: a tiny village-club print run for a one-off European night, making this Faroese away issue quite possibly the scarcest programme in the entire collection. Copies almost never surface.

Liverpool

Signed Shirt · 2006-07

£45 open to reasonable offers

Good Signed Available

Yellow Adidas Liverpool away shirt with the Carlsberg sponsor, consistent with the 2006-07 season, carrying around 15-16 signatures across the chest and sleeves. The signatures are believed to be from the Liverpool squad of that era - some sit beside squad numbers matching players of the time - but the handwriting is largely illegible and none have been authenticated, so please judge them from the photographs, which show the shirt from several angles. The shirt itself is clean, with only faint marks near the hem.

Dunfermline Athletic

Signed Ball · 1990s

£20 open to reasonable offers

Good Signed Available

A full-squad signed D.A.F.C. football from the mid-1990s, believed to include the signature of Norrie McCathie - Dunfermline's long-serving captain, who died in January 1996 and remains one of the most loved figures in the club's history - alongside manager Bert Paton and around a dozen team-mates including Allan Preston and Andy Hawkins. The signatures are unauthenticated and the handwriting takes some reading, so please study the photographs, which show the ball from several angles. The ball shows light soiling and yellowing consistent with its age. A quiet, meaningful piece for anyone who stood at East End Park in that era.

£14 open to reasonable offers

The booklet includes the hymns Abide With Me and You'll Never Walk Alone alongside tributes from Roy Woodrow, Bert Paton, Craig Robertson and Tom Kerr, closing with a page of thanks from the club's Chairman and Directors. Given only to those who attended, it is offered here with respect for what it represents; it will mean most to a Dunfermline supporter.

£8 open to reasonable offers

Available

United Review No. 9 for Manchester United v Estudiantes de Argentina at Old Trafford, 16 October 1968 - the second leg of the Intercontinental Cup final, played just months after United became European champions. The tie is remembered as one of the most ill-tempered in the competition's history, and original copies of this programme are genuinely scarce.

FA Cup Final Replay

£30 open to reasonable offers

Available

Programme for the 1970 FA Cup Final Replay between Chelsea and Leeds United at Old Trafford, 29 April 1970, published by Manchester United as the host club. The replay - one of the most famously brutal finals in English football history - drew a record television audience of some 28 million, but far fewer fans made the trip north than had been at Wembley, so this edition had a much smaller print run than the original Wembley final programme and is the one collectors chase.
